UMMA Health
A rebuilt experience for a community health center. Patients can find care, book a visit and get answers without a phone call.
This is an unsolicited concept. Imar Labs is not affiliated with UMMA Health, was not engaged by them, and nothing here reflects their plans or performance.
The problem
For a multi-site community clinic, almost every visit to the website is one of three questions: where do I go, is it open, and can I afford it. Most clinic sites answer those last, behind a homepage built for funders.
What we built
The concept puts the clinic finder at the centre. Enter a ZIP and the list sorts by distance; each card carries its hours and what is actually offered at that site, so the answer arrives without a phone call.
- A persistent bar on mobile holding the three things a visitor came for: call, find a clinic, give.
- Which languages are spoken is stated in the hero, not buried in an accessibility page — for many patients it is the deciding question.
- Services are described by what a patient would call them, not by department name.
- The whole finder works at 390px without a map dependency, because the phone is the primary device.
